I've gone to Seattle twice. Those two trips have been to see the Seattle Sounders. Obviously. I wanted to give you some tips that can help you on your next visit.

1. Don't Uber/Lyft from the airport.
Save money by taking the light rail. It's about a 10-minute walk and it's connected to the airport. According to their website, it takes around 40 minutes to take you downtown and it passes every 8-10 minutes.
2. Stay at this hostel, if you want.
Hotels and motels are expensive, especially if you're planning to stay downtown. I found this hostel that's literally across Pike Place Market and definitely affordable. I do recommend reserving ahead of time because it is popular for travelers.

3. Seattle City Pass
I did not get this but I should have. The City Pass let's you visit Seattle's 5 famous attractions, including the Space Needle. You'll save money and you'll have something to do. Also, choose the Museum of Pop Culture to use on the pass.
4. Take the Monorail.
If you do decide to stay at the hostel and want to go the museum, then this is for you. The monorail is about a 5 minute walk from the hostel. It's give you a nice view of the city and makes a good IG story.
