From all the people I've spoken to, Amsterdam was my favorite place during my trip to Europe. While I only went to watch football (aka soccer), here are some things you can add to your list if you decide to visit.

1. Red Light District
I might as well get this out of the way lol. It's not just sex workers, there's so many things to visit. From restaurants, bars, coffee shops, museums, shows, and more. Whether you go alone, with a partner, or a group of friends, something will catch your eye.
2. Johan Cruyff Arena
If you're into soccer or not, you should still go watch an Ajax match. Tickets were 41 euros ($44) and the view was great for such a large stadium. The atmosphere is very different from games in the US as I felt I was the only one on their phone while everyone else was enjoying the game. Check out my TikTok to see my experience.

3. Albert Cuyp Market
Think of yourself going to the swap meet but better and its in a street where they have 250+ vendors. You can find clothes, bags, shoes, fruits, vegetables, art, and more. It's open Monday to Saturday from 9am-6pm and its free. It's the most popular market in the Netherlands so you have to visit.
4. The Heineken Experience
This was the coolest thing I did in Amsterdam. I got tickets to get a tour on how Heineken started but you can also go on your own pace to see what they have in each section that's part of their history. Tickets start at 23 euros and can go to 59.50 euros depending on the tour you choose.

5. Taco Lindo
If you're craving REAL Mexican tacos, this is the place you need to go. Its located at the Albert Cuyp Market so you'll be able to visit 2 places from my list. I found this place through TikTok and it did not disappoint. I loved their birria cheese tacos that I had them twice in the same week...they were that good!
